About this opportunity
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Partnership and Improvement Assistant to join our team within the Quality, Resources, and Transformation Service area of Children’s Services.
Reporting to the Partnership & Improvement Manager, you will play a key role in improving outcomes for children and young people in Westmorland and Furness by supporting the delivery of key business systems, quality assurance processes and providing support to children’s partnerships.
In this role you’ll work alongside internal colleagues and external partner agencies to support driving improvement and transformation across children’s services, playing an essential part in achieving positive change.
Candidates must possess excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills. an ability to problem solve, they must be flexible, be able to work within competing deadlines and have excellent customer care and communication skills. They must be a team player who is committed to continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone who is confident and can work independently in a busy environment with the ability to use their own initiative.
