An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Partnership Support Officer to join our Partnerships and Consultation Team.

You will provide support to the Policy and Consultation Team, working with a range of partners to help deliver key strategic priorities, partnership initiatives and the Asset and Service Transfer Programme.
 
This vacancy is available on a temporary basis for 24 months.
 
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
 
You will support the delivery of partnership activities and the Asset and Service Transfer Programme, working with community groups, partners and colleagues across a range of strategic priorities. The role includes supporting partnership plans and initiatives, assisting community groups through the asset transfer process, and providing administrative, financial and project support.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 

  • Supporting community groups through the asset transfer process, including funding, leases, capacity building, training, and support needs.
  • Liaising with community groups and partners across the public, private and voluntary sectors, and responding to requests for information.
  • Supporting the development and review of partnership strategies, plans, policies and procedures.
  • Producing reports, briefing materials, presentations, case studies, publicity materials and other documentation.
  • Supporting consultation and engagement activities, performance monitoring, financial administration and the maintenance of administrative systems.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
 

  • Educated to NVQ Level 4 in a relevant subject area (or equivalent), or able to demonstrate significant relevant experience.
  • Experience of working in partnership with a range of organisations and stakeholders, specifically the voluntary and community sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of people.
