Joseph Turner Primary School is eager to appoint a confident and self-motivated Pastoral Manager to support and guide our children and families on a day to day basis. We need someone who has excellent interpersonal skills and is well organised.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work in partnership with families to ensure that they are provided with the right support at the right time to promote the welfare of children and young people living within the family. 
  • Proactively engage and support the most vulnerable and challenging children, young people and their families to strengthen the family and improve their outcomes.
  • Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the school and be responsible for the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils, parents and staff.

Joseph Turner is a friendly community school with welcoming staff, who have our children at the heart of everything we do. The candidate should be passionate about supporting school to make a difference to the lives of our pupils.
