As a Pause Practice Lead, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to Pause Wakefield, ensuring the delivery of a fully integrated package of health, therapeutic and social support for women engaged in the programme.
The role is central to maintaining a coordinated, trauma‑informed approach that enables women to make meaningful and sustained changes in their lives. Pause is designed specifically to address the complex and often interlinked needs of women who have experienced repeat removals of children into care, with the ultimate aim of reducing future removals by creating space for stability, recovery, and personal development.
In this leadership role, you will set the vision, targets, and priorities for the Pause Practice, modelling best practice and coaching the team to deliver high‑quality, relational support. You will oversee and supervise four practitioners, ensuring their practice is reflective, purposeful, and aligned to the Pause ethos.
Working closely with the Pause National Practice Lead, you will ensure fidelity to the national model, maintaining integrity in the delivery of key elements such as assertive outreach, bespoke trauma‑informed interventions.
