An exciting opportunity has arisen for five Pay, Reward & Employment Services Support Officers to join our CIPP accredited team.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Sharing your working week between modern renovated office accommodation and home working, the PRES Support Officers are key posts within our team. We are looking for someone to join our team and contribute to the provision of an effective and accurate HR/Payroll service for a wide range of customers, including council employees and external organisations.
You will work within a cohesive team to ensure accurate and timely HR/Payroll changes are processed to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
We are looking for someone with experience of working in an office environment and working with IT systems and processes as well as providing efficient, high quality professional services to customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with to join a friendly and experienced team and further develop their career.
These posts are temporary until 31st March 2028.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification.

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
