Rotherham Council is seeking to employ a Public Health Business Support Assistant to help with the delivery of the Prevention and Health Inequalities Strategy and Action Plan along with supporting the work of the wider team. This role is an exciting opportunity to use your admin support skills to the full while developing your understanding of public health.
Rotherham’s Public Health team is a vibrant team working on a wide range of issues and with a wide range of partners to achieve significant improvements in local people’s health and wellbeing and addressing inequalities in health between our different communities.
The postholder will have the opportunity to learn more about the variety of public health priorities including tackling preventable health risk factors, improving access to healthcare, building the understanding of health inequalities through data and intelligence, and helping to make Rotherham a healthier place to live.
The role will also involve opportunities to work with other partners, including local health organisations, the voluntary and community sector and other teams across the Council.
