  • Have experience managing a high volume of tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to work successfully with stakeholders at various levels
  • Possess strong problem‑solving skills, using your initiative to deliver bespoke solutions
  • Have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service
  • Be proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel

What we can offer you:

  • Flexible working hours and a combination of home and office working
  • 28 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) rising to 34 after five years’ service
  • A supportive environment with lots of opportunity for personal development and progression
  • Generous Local Government pension
  • Green car scheme
  • Discounts off a wide range of high street stores, supermarkets, online travel

You will be based at our Northallerton Office, working a combination of office and home days each week.

Our values are at the heart of what we do and what we want to achieve.

Our values are inclusive, ambitious, creative and together – IACT. These values guide how we – with our customers, partners and others – work together to achieve the council’s ambitions.

  • Inclusive – we act with kindness and integrity, respecting differences and embedding equality of opportunity.
