Clifton Green Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our fantastic kitchen team.

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for supporting teaching and learning by preparing and serving hot and cold lunches to our pupils. You must be professional, positive and demonstrate the ability to communicate well with colleagues and pupils.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will be an excellent team player who has the ability to use their own initiative, but above all you must love working with children. You will require the following skills;

• strong customer service skills
• ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines
• able to follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures
• be able to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and their families

Experience of working in a kitchen/catering setting is desirable but full training will be provided.
