The Role:
The Front Door Team consists of Senior Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Social Workers, and Social Care Practitioners. The team provides timely advice, assessment and early intervention from first contact through to complex long‑term work.
In this role, you will take a lead responsibility for DFG‑related assessments and major adaptation work, ensuring residents receive high‑quality, timely and person‑centred recommendations to support independence and safety at home. Alongside DFG work, you will manage a mixed caseload of short- and long‑term interventions.
You will receive ongoing support from a Service Team Manager and a Principal Occupational Therapist, with access to regular supervision, training opportunities and annual appraisal.
