We have an exciting opportunity for a Systemic Practitioner to join our Family Help Service on an innovative pilot scheme to support the embedding of systemic practice, which involves focusing on group relationships or networks, such as family and friends, rather than solely on an individual’s thoughts and feelings.
If you hold a year-one or year-two qualification in Systemic Practice, have experience of training in systemic practice, supervision and reflective practice and are looking for a role where you will work collaboratively with a team who are passionate about development and positive change, then we would love to hear from you.
We are looking forward to offering this opportunity to a passionate individual who can support us in making a real difference to children and families in Westmorland and Furness and support the development of our dedicated Family Help Service. You will have great working knowledge of current developments in Systemic Psychotherapy and systemic practice in children’s social care and an understanding of local authority Family Help services within the social care context.
In this role you will be fundamental in supporting our teams to develop their skills in working with young people and families who experience multiple and complex needs, including developing systemic practice through advice and consultation. You will plan, develop and deliver specialist training and will represent the systemic psychotherapy discipline more widely within our Children’s Services.
Additionally, our Westmorland and Furness Children’s Services team recently received a rating of ‘Good’ overall in our first routine Ofsted inspection and are committed to making continuous improvements to our service, come and join us on our journey!
*We would consider remote working for the right candidate, though the contractual work base for the role would remain a Westmorland and Furness anchor building.
